We are a monthly gathering of new and seasoned mahjong players in the Shadyside neighborhood in Pittsburgh! We offer open play for experienced players and group lessons for newbies at our meetups. Tickets always include wine, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks!

No, we welcome players of all levels. Buy a group lesson ticket and sit at a table with three other new players to learn the game and practice together. Experienced players can mix and mingle among tables and play openly!

If you have a 2025 National Mahjong Card, please bring it with you. Cards will also be available for purchase at the event. We encourage you to bring your own mahjong set if you have one, though sets will be provided.

The meetups will take place monthly at Rodef Shalom temple on Fifth Avenue. There is a parking lot with FREE parking. Simply walk in the main entrance located off of the parking lot. You can enter the parking from either Morewood Avenue or Devonshire Street.
